KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board officials will hold a crucial meeting with their Australian counterpart regarding forthcoming tour of Australia to Pakistan to be played in April this year.
The meeting will be held in Melbourne on January 27, the PCB Chief Operating Officer Salim Altaf told the newsmen here at the National Stadium Tuesday. He said the series schedule could be finalized in the meeting.
“Though we have the option of playing at some neutral venues, but we want Australia to tour Pakistan as per schedule,” he said, adding that Bangladesh Cricket Board has also requested to include one more T20 match in the upcoming tour.
To a question about Muhammad Asif, Altaf said that he would be given full chance to prove his innocence. The World Anti-doping Agency (WADA) has also enquired about Muhammad Asif case, he added.
